This one is not reproducible.

I was in the Observations tab. I selected the Database icon in the lower right, which brought up the Observation Database dialog. I closed that, then clicked on the Observation Settings button (the one with the checkboxes) directly to its right. This caused a hard crash and the Apple crash catcher.
