User description of above error trace:

I had to reinstall Astroplanner after a hard drive crash, and now have 'Out Of Bounds Exception' crash. I tried again, uninstalling it, then cleaning registry for all astroplanner files, but no luck. Installing again in 'administrator' mode is not more successful.

Workaround:
1. From Astroplanner, choose Help→Where's my stuff?
2. Select the Temporary Files entry and click the Reveal button.
3. If the "catinventory.txt" exists, move it to the trash.

Fixed. Hopefully.
