Downloading & Installing AstroPlanner

You can download and install AstroPlanner from here, whether or not you have registered and received your licence information. The application download for both platforms includes the application itself, some basic astronomical catalogues, and the complete user manual (which you can access via the Help menu from the application). Hardware & software requirements for AstroPlanner are listed here.

If you are willing to "live dangerously" you can try the latest beta release of the next version here. Typically these releases are reasonably stable, but do expire after a couple of months.

Note: The current release (V2.3.2) will NOT run on Mac OS 13 (Ventura) or after, at least at present. Your only option is use the V2.4 beta version mentioned above, until V2.4 is released

Installing

Download the application installer (if your security software won't allow you to download the .exe version, try downloading the .exe.zip version). Unzip the file if necessary. Run the installer by double-clicking it. Follow the installer's directions to install the application.

Both platforms

The full user manual is included with the application (accessible via the Help menu). However, if you want to look at the user manual before you decide, it's available from here.
